Aviation regulator DGCA allows IndiGo to carry pre-flight briefing data in digital form

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has permitted IndiGo to use Electronic Flight Folders (EFF), allowing the airline to carry pre-flight briefing data like flight plans and weather charts digitally rather than in hard copy. This move is expected to reduce aircraft weight, fuel consumption, and operational costs while enhancing safety and efficiency in flight preparations.
