New Ford Capri

Ford Capri ??????

I have already vowed to only ever refer to it as a Fraud Capri

What on earth are the people at Ford smoking that made them think it was ever going to be acceptable to re-use such an iconic and loved name on something so completely box-like - that doesn't have just two doors, isn't even a coupé and isn't a lowslung sporty car ?

Are they so completely bankrupt of new ideas ?

Now, this may be a perfectly good crossover electric SUV ... but to even contemplate calling it a Capri is outrageous.

So far all i have heard is universal hatred for the name (then again i do hang around in old duffer car nostalgia forums a lot)
