'Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas!' musical coming to Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A musical version of a Christmas classic is coming to the stage in Columbus, promising to fill theatergoers with the magic of the holiday season.
CAPA has announced "Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas!" is set to entertain audiences of all ages with nine shows from Dec. 3 to 8, 2024 at the Palace Theatre, according to a news release.
The musical, which The New York Times calls “100 times better than any bedtime story,” includes the hit songs “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas.” The Grinch's faithful companion Max the Dog acts as the story's narrator as the holiday hater with a heart “two sizes too small,” carries out his vengeful plan on the unsuspecting residents of Whoville.
