OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) -- In Opelousas, they are cooking up something special because Mama's Fried Chicken is showing their appreciation for Opelousas native and wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills Keon Coleman by supporting his favorite nonprofit organization.

Hope for Opelousas is a non-profit dedicated to providing a place for children to grow in faith and relationships, as well as learn skills for the classroom.

Now Mama's Fried Chicken wants to keep the positivity going by selling their own T-shirts to support Hope for Opelousas, a place Ryan Lagrange, the general manager, holds close to his heart as well.

"We wanted to do something to show how much we appreciate and support Keon," Lagrange said. "We thought what better way than support his favorite nonprofit? I have family members that work there. The director, Lauren. He actually married my wife and me, we're very close knit with all the people over there."

With the shirt, you're not only supporting the non-profit, but you're also visiting a restaurant Coleman enjoys and rocking his number on his jersey.

"I wanted to do a play off the Bills Mafia," Lagrange said. "I even did something similar to the Buffalo logo, but with the chicken."

Bringing together the best of Opelousas and Buffalo, Lagrange said the hope is for Keon's hometown to head down to Mama's and help the heart of Opelousas grow a little bigger.

"We're selling them for $20 and just about half of it, $10, is going to go directly to Hope for Opelousas for every shirt we sell," Lagrange said. "We're hoping to sell all 250 of them and maybe even order more."
