Police arrest suspect for ‘Demetroui’ murder

Another suspect has been arrested in connection with the gangland murder of Demetris Andronicou, AKA ‘Demetroui’, police said on Friday.

The suspect, a 28-year-old man, was arrested on a court ordered warrant as part of investigations into the death of Andronicou, 34.

Andronicou died on May 28 from sepsis, after being shot three times on April 23 on the Palaichori-Anthoupoli road.

Another eight people are already in custody for the murder.
