KU men's basketball announces non-conference schedule

LAWRENCE (KSNT) - Kansas men's basketball is gearing up for a non-conference schedule with no shortage of excitement in 2024-25.
In a season that features 20 Big 12 contests in the new-look, 16-team conference, the Jayhawks are also tasked with high-caliber matchups like hosting North Carolina, facing Duke and traveling to Creighton.
KU's 2024-25 non-conference schedule:
- Oct. 18 - Late Night in the Phog
- Oct. 29 (home) - Washburn (Exhibition)
- Nov. 4 (home) - Howard
- Nov. 8 (home) - North Carolina
- Nov. 12 (neutral) - Michigan State (Champions Classic)
- Nov. 16 (home) - Oakland
- Nov. 19 (home) - UNC Wilmington
- Nov. 26 (netural) - Duke (Vegas Showdown)
- Nov. 30 (neutral) - Furman (Vegas Showdown)
- Dec. 4 (away) - Creighton (Big 12/Big East Challenge)
- Dec. 8 (away) - Missouri
- Dec. 14 (away) - NC State
- Dec. 22 (home) - Brown
In 2023-24, KU's strength of schedule was ranked third in the NCAA. Bill Self and the Jayhawks finished the regular season 23-11.
