Delhi HC orders removal of encroachment, illegal constructions near Yamuna

The Delhi High Court has instructed the DDA vice-chairperson to eliminate encroachments and unauthorized constructions on the Yamuna river bank, bed, and drains, appointing them as the nodal officer to coordinate with various agencies. The order, issued on July 8, followed a petition seeking the removal of illegal structures near Shaheen Bagh and measures to prevent future encroachments.
