Today's letters: Wellington Street needs reviving, Ottawa

My wife was remarking recently how, years ago, we used to walk down Wellington Street past the Parliament buildings to Confederation Square. The street and square were busy with people and families.We remember enjoying the buskers, riding a mini-version of an 1880 penny-farthing bicycle with a large front wheel, listening to street bands, and eating hot dogs, hamburgers, soft drinks etc. from vendor trucks.
