- Getting hot late week & weekend
Temperatures for tonight will fall into the upper 60's with a slight chance of showers and storms in the overnight hours. Storms more likely northeast. Partly cloudy with a light southeast wind.
For tomorrow temperatures will climb into the mid 90's. Tomorrow a light wind from the east. Staying dry with a lot of sunshine as dew points hang out in the middle 60's. This is the start to a slow warming trend with air temperatures in the triple digits by Sunday.
Our next several days look to be mostly dry as mostly sunny weather dominates the Central Plains. We gradually warm back up through out the week, eventually getting hot again by the weekend. Heat indices near 110 degrees by the start of next week. Find ways to stay cool!
