Fire spreads from former homeless camp, rips through NE Portland building

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A fire ripped through a Northeast Portland building early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
According to Portland Fire & Rescue, the fire started outside at a former homeless camp near Northeast 28th Avenue and Sandy Boulevard and spread to the nearby building.
Information about the fire is very limited and the cause remains unknown.
Authorities said that there are no reported injuries and it is unknown if anyone was displaced during the fire.
