There will be a new face patrolling the halls of PPG Paints Arena come next season as Kyle Dubas continued to build out his long term vision for the Pittsburgh Penguins with a new front office hire that will take control of the Penguins scouting operation. For this hire, Dubas went back to his roots like he so often does, brining in a close friend to help the operation.

There is a new addition to the Penguins front office with the hiring of Wes Clark from Toronto to oversee the scouting department. Clark worked with Dubas previously with the Maple Leafs and comes highly regarded. [Pensburgh]

When Dubas came to Pittsburgh last summer, many expected Clark to follow him right away. Instead, Clark remained with Toronto for the 2023-24 season and all the way through the Draft, but it appears Clark still remains loyal to his friend Dubas. [The Hockey News]
