L.A. robber avoided prison after stealing Rolex. Now, he's accused in Fashion Island killing

A man charged with killing a New Zealand tourist outside Newport Beach's Fashion Island mall had previously pleaded no contest to a felony armed robbery charge, but his prison sentence was suspended.
