China launches investigation in response to EU's probe of solar, wind power and other products

China's Commerce Ministry announced an investigation into alleged unfair EU trade practices in wind power, photovoltaics, and security equipment. Initiated by China's Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, the probe follows EU investigations into Chinese subsidies. The investigation is set to conclude by January 10, 2025.
