In Cebu, 6 Palaro athletes get dengue

CEBU CITY, Philippines — At least six student-athletes participating in the Palarong Pambansa 2024 were taken to a local hospital after they got dengue before the sporting event’s official opening ceremonies on Tuesday. Dr. Peter Mancao, acting chief medical director of the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC), said the students were already in stable condition.
