Steady rise in temperature as we head toward the weekend
What We’re Tracking
- Gradually warming up this week
- Lots of sunshine
- Getting hot late week & weekend
Low temperatures fall into the middle to upper 60s tonight with a clear to partly cloudy sky. Expect more near-average July weather for the next few days this week. Highs Wednesday climb into the upper 80s and lower 90s with a light north breeze. Humidity levels will still be manageable, so it will feel nice and comfortable.
Our next several days look to be mostly dry as mostly sunny weather dominates the Central Plains. We gradually warm back up through out the week, eventually getting hot again by the weekend.
Once the heat builds in, it could stick around for a while with highs in the upper 90s to lower 100s well into next week as a hot weather pattern establishes itself over the region.
