Luke Littler sends bizarre message to Lamine Yamal after Spain star becomes youngest ever European Championship scorer

LUKE LITTLER has sent a cheeky message to Spain hero Lamine Yamal – suggesting the darts ace is still The Chosen One for young talent.

Littler, 17, broke all sorts of records in reaching the World Championship final at 16 – the age at which Yamal has become the youngest scorer in Euros history.

And the oche ace appears to reckon being the Nuke kid on the block is better than being Lamine the new teen machine.

Littler posted a mocked-up pic of himself in heavenly garb with Yamal below him in a blue sky.

Both are smiling as Euro 2024 semi-final hero Yamal asks via a speech bubble: “How am I doing boss?”

Littler beams back: “You’re doing a great job son… a great job!”

Fans revelled in the intervention from the Premier League Darts champ.

“Top class this!” said one as Littler hit the banter bullseye.

Similar responses included: “Love that Luke” and “That’s unreal”.

“World class tweet” and “Hahahahah class” were other pieces of praises pinged in.

Meanwhile, some fans compared Littler’s achievements to those of Barcelona propsect Yamal.

Some clearly believe arrowing in consistently from seven feet is better than arrowing one in from 25 yards to book a place in a major final.

England or the Netherlands await Spain after their 2-1 comeback defeat of France.

One fan posted: “9 darter still clear.”

But with both starlets having achieved so much so young, few would disagree with one verdict.

Alongside an emoji of the two men shaking hands to show respect, the post added: “16 year old Prodigies.”

Inside Littler's massive rise

LUKE LITTLER has taken the darts world by storm since exploding onto the scene at the PDC World Championship.

The Nuke reached the final on his Ally Pally debut at just 16 years of age – smashing records along the way.

He has since joined Jude Bellingham on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

And the teenage titan even had to snub an invite from the WWE.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Littler is plotting to create a fitness empire.

He is also cashing in away from the Oche thanks to an Instagram side hustle.

And he’s even the face of a brand new cereal.

The wonderkid has now cemented his place among the tungsten elite by winning the Premier League Darts final – and the £275k top prize.
