Acclaimed Indian author Arundhati Roy to be prosecuted under India’s draconian anti-terror law for 2010 remarks on Kashmir

Delhi’s Lieutenant-Governor, an appointee and toady of India’s far-right BJP-led government, endorsed Roy’s prosecution under the UAPA on June 14, in order to circumvent the statute of limitations that governs prosecutions under normal Indian Penal Code provisions.
