Louisiana man accused of sexually assaulting a minor
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
FERRIDAY, La. (KTVE/KARD) -- On July 8, 2024, detectives of the Concordia Parish Sheriff's Office began investigating the sexual abuse of a child, which had occurred at a residence in Ferriday, La. During the investigation, an emergency forensic interview was conducted at the Alexandria Child Advocacy Center, along with a sexual assault exam.
According to authorities, the suspect was identified as 27-year-old Donald Higginbotham III and booked into the CPSO jail for two counts of First-Degree Rape, Indecent Behavior with Juveniles, Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
