Tomato, potato, and vegetable prices set to rocket further due to heatwaves and rains

Farmers report significant losses from both recent rains and earlier heatwaves, leading to rotting plants and fields. Vegetable prices overall, including potatoes and onions, have surged, with tomatoes now costing 75-80 rupees per kilo, up from 40-50 rupees in June.
