FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good Monday Evening,

We have had a nice start to the work week, with temps about 4-6 degrees above normal. Clouds will fill in overnight, with higher humidity, and lows only in the lower 70s. Tuesday will be another warm and muggy day, with highs in the upper 80s. Expect some of the moisture associated with the remnants of Hurricane Beryl to start to approach the southwest part of the state by the evening.

Better chances of rain & a few rumbles expected overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. We will see breezy conditions overnight, with pockets of heavy rain expected. This system will bring gustier winds as it moves to our west on Wednesday with us being on the wetter side of the remnant low. Because these systems can still produce quite some spin, there is still a very low chance of an isolated spin up tornado. Anything that would occur will likely be a very weak tornado as is the case with tropical systems this far inland.

Highs on Wednesday will struggle into the lower 80s with very high humidity. Thursday the system will exit away leaving a lingering isolated shower/t-shower, with highs back near normal in the middle 80s. Friday, expect clearing skies with highs near 90.

We will be hot & muggy over the weekend with highs in the lower 90s and that will continue into Monday as well. We will have a few late day, isolated pop-ups each afternoon possible. These will be very very isolated in nature, as no major systems are planned to move through during this period.
