State Trooper accused of endangering a child during a dispute
GRANVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- State Police arrested a New York State Trooper investigator on Tuesday, June 25, for allegedly endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. Police said John R. DeCristofaro, 33, of Granville, was charged after a domestic incident on Wednesday, June 19.
Charges
- One count of second-degree harassment
- One count of second-degree aggravated harassment
- One count of endangering the welfare of a child
Police said DeCristofaro was served with an order of protection when he was arraigned. DeCristofaro was released and is currently suspended without pay.
