Ulster County Pool to close for the season

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Ulster County Department of Public Works (UCDPW) announced that the Ulster County Pool on Libertyville Road in New Paltz has been closed down for the summer. The closure stems from ongoing water loss issues that county engineers continue to assess.

UCDPW says that multiple repairs have been attempted, including replacing valves and performing maintenance on the gutter system and gravity lines, but water loss at the pool persists. County officials stated that information regarding Season Pass refunds will be issued later this week.
