Redditor Sleeping-beauty-89 gave their steps to success in a comment on the social media platform.

With easily accessible products, their regimen clearly won’t break the bank.

They said that they don’t exceed spending $100 on skincare in one year.

“I adopt a simplified version of K-beauty skincare steps,” they wrote.

HOW IT’S DONE

First, they said they make sure to cleanse the face thoroughly.

They specified that they double cleanse, first using an oil-based cleanser followed by a water-based cleanser.

Double cleansing is a Korean beauty method for removing stubborn makeup and keeping the complexion as pristine as possible.

Next, they tne the skin using an essence.

They use the Neogen Essence, sold for $38 on their website.

For their third step, they use a serum, alternating between a few different types.

One contender is The Ordinary’s Multi-Peptide + HA Serum, formerly known as the “Buffet,” $19.90.

Another is The Ordinary’s Granactive Retinoid Emulsion 2%, which is sold for $12.10.

The also mentioned the Hada Labo Premium HA Serum, $12.82, Amazon.

For an all-over face lotion, they use the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, $33, Sephora.

The skincare fan doesn’t skimp on the eyes, using the $28 Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream from Cosrx.

They also finish off their routine with a mask for added hydration.

“Sheet mask once a week,” they said.

“Of course sunscreen. I recommend Stylevana for K-beauty items.”

The Korean skincare fan added their method for staying under budget.

“My annual budget for skincare is [around] $100. I stock up when there are sales,” they said.
