'Why are we having this conversation?' Ex-RNC chair blows up on MSNBC host
Former RNC chair and current co-host of "The Weekend" Michael Steele got in the face of his MSNBC colleague who seemed baffled about how President Joe Biden could get the focus back on Donald Trump after the disastrous CNN debate performance.
Appearing remotely, Steele made the case that Democrats had better fall in line behind Biden or face a disaster on voting day.
With the other panelists looking and on, Steele appeared frustrated that Jansing didn't see the elephant in the room — that elephant being Trump.
"How does he get that narrative back to be about Donald Trump and not about him? This isn't just the elites who are having these concerns," Jansing asked.
"Donald Trump is 78 years old and can't string a sentence together " Steele loudly exclaimed.

"Did you hear the man talk about electric batteries and sharks? Seriously!" he continued. "I mean, come on. Donald Trump has shown us everything he's incapable of doing and it boggles my mind that that is not part of this conversation at the same time, alright? These are the two men, so what Joe Biden has to do is make the case that he can make."
"There are a lot of opportunities for Joe Biden to do his thing," he elaborated. "Is he going to make mistakes? Yeah, he will. But I'm trying to figure out when Democrats realized that Joe Biden was old. The guy was 77 when you nominated him. You thought he'd be 73 four years later?"
"Fourteen million Americans, Democrats, voted for him in a primary so I don't understand why are we having this conversation right now?' he added.
"The people at that picnic [from an earlier video clip] and across this country told you who they wanted, if they wanted someone else, they would have chosen someone else, and they didn't. So you can't blame Joe Biden, you can't blame his age. You've just got to go forward with where the people have now positioned him and if the elites and others in the media as well, they're going to swap out a president and stick some rando Democratic in in the next few weeks, good luck with that."
