PCB About to Discuss Gary Kristen’s Report, Will Babar Azam lose Captaincy?

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Moshin Naqvi summoned Gary Kristen to talk about their team’s future. The meeting is held due to the recent criticism by some fans and former Pakistan cricketers for the Men in Green’s performance in the T20 World Cup.

White-ball head coach Gary Kristen and selector Wahab Riaz submitted their tour reports to Naqvi, which he would review. The report highlights players’ fitness, discipline, game awareness and many other things.

It is reported that most of the report about Babar Azam’s future as the white-ball skipper of the Pakistan team is the most important part of discussion, as former Pakistan cricketers have criticized Babar’s captaincy skills.

Last Thursday, Naqvi talked about Babar’s future as Pakistan’s captain and said that no decision has been made on him.

“There is, however, no decision taken so far related to Babar Azam,” the top cricket official said. “I’m only speaking to those former cricketers who are interested in betterment of Pakistan cricket,” he added.

Last week, it was also reported that around 35 international cricketers will meet the PCB chairman on Monday to give their suggestion and feedback in order to improve the domestic cricket structure in the country.

Since there is ample gap in Pakistan’s next white-ball series, Pakistan management will have enough time yo make the necessary changes for their cricket to get better.
