Inside Kym Marsh’s secret romance with toyboy co-star from getting cosy at cast parties and introducing him to friends
KYM Marsh shocked fans this weekend when she revealed she had found her ‘soulmate’.
The 48-year-old has been secretly dating her 29-year-old co-star Samuel Thomas after meeting on her latest production – 101 Dalmatians: The Musical.
Kym – whose son David was born the same year as Samuel – revealed she had split from her third husband, Army Major Scott Ratcliff, 35, in May 2023.
Sharing a picture of her kissing actor Samuel, Kym said: “Met the most amazing man ever! Sometimes the most unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times. @samuelthomasuk I love you #beautiful #soulmate #loveyou.”
Samuel also posted: “I didn’t expect you, but here you are. I love you.”
Smitten Kym replied: “Ditto. The best things happen unexpectedly. Love you too.”
While Kym has only just gone public, the pair have been growing close behind the scenes for a number of weeks.
Back in June the pair were inseparable as the cast celebrated their press night.
They could be seen cosying up together in the corner of the group pictures, looking very comfortable with each other.
They later jumped in a photobooth with the rest of the cast – and in one snap Kym is seen going in to lick him.
Kym started liking Samuel’s posts as soon as they started working together.
Kym first announced she was playing the part of Cruella De Vil back in April.
And Samuel plays the character of Tom who offers the Dalmatians refuge.
The first rehearsals began on May 13,which is thought to be when the pair hit it off.
And it seems Kym had told her pals all about Sam as actor Gareth Berliner gave his seal of approval, writing: “I said he was a catch. Lovely to see you both loved up.”
Others also suggested they had known about the ongoing romance as they sent their congratulations.

KYM has been married three times – to EastEnders star Jack Ryder from 2002-2009, and to Hollyoaks’ Jamie Lomas from 2012-2014.
The 48-year-old split from her third husband Army Major Scott Ratcliff last year, who she wed in 2021.
The actress met 29-year-old actor Samuel Thomas while rehearsing for a new theatre show, 101 Dalmations: The Musical.
Kym has two children, David and Emilie, from an earlier relationship, and a daughter, Polly, with Lomas. She and Lomas also had a son, Archie, in 2010, who died moments after he was born.
