Pokémon is introducing two brand-new ‘mons into Scarlet and Violet
POKÉMON has just revealed its schedule for a summer of events that will take place in Scarlet and Violet.
Beginning this week, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will have a number of Pikachu-themed events, including a brand-new ‘mon, currently not available in the games.
Hisuian Sliggoo is currently only available in Pokémon Legends: Arceus[/caption]Between Friday, July 12, 2024, and Thursday, July 25, 2024, there will be Pikachu raids and outbreaks that people can take part in.
Pikachu the Unrivaled will return to seven-star raids, though if you caught one the last time it was available, you cannot catch it again.
However, the raid gives you a huge amount of goodies to grab, so it’s worth taking on, even if you don’t intend to catch it.
There are also a number of Pikachu-like Pokémon that you can find in outbreaks over the fortnight.
Pichu outbreaks will appear in Paldea, Pikachu and Mimikyu will appear in Kitakami, and Raichu and Alolan Raichu will appear in Blueberry Academy.
These outbreaks have an increased shiny chance, so they are perfect if you want to catch these Pokémon with different colour variations.
This is the first time that Alolan Raichu is available for players to grab in Scarlet and Violet without transferring it from another Switch game.
There will be other Tera raids and outbreaks occurring between now and September.
Dondozo, and Dragonite will appear in seven-star Tera raids, and Gimmighoul with a chance to be shiny will appear in one to five year Tera raids.
There will also be a huge number of outbreaks including Tatsugiri, and most importantly Hisuian Sliggoo for the first time in Scarlet and Violet.
