NEIGHBOUR disputes are always a difficult situation and you might hope you will be backed up by others, but that’s not always the case.

This is what happened to Jasmini Jones, who posts on TikTok as @jasmini.jones.

She said she spent ‘hours’ picking the grass from the stone[/caption]

She shared on the platform that her neighbours had cut their grass and it had blown into her garden and settled onto her stone display.

Jasmini said it left her “so angry” as she had weeded the area the previous week.

“I’ve spent the entire morning separating the stones from the grass so it can look pretty again.

“It took me like forever, like literally forever.”

She continued: “I’ve only just come in now and I think I went out at half past eight.

“I’m so angry, I felt like tipping all the grass over into next door’s garden.”

She says she then did some pottering in other parts of the garden as she was already “covered in grass and itchy AF.”

In the caption, she seemed to take a stab at herself and joked: “Overreacting is FUN [laughing face emoji.”

However, others failed to see the situation’s hilarity.

One person penned: “You’re a saddo.”

Another said: “When you’ve got too much time on your hands [laughing face emoji].”

A third commented: “Honestly life is too short for this.”

A fourth wrote: “Picking grass out of stones though… lol.”

Someone pointed out she had then cut her grass next to her other neighbour and she responded they didn’t have stones.

She wrote: “I upgraded my house and they added [the] stones.

“I didn’t blow [any of] my grass when I finished like the gardener they hired did [laughing face emojis].”

The Top Five Reasons Neighbours Squabble

One study by Compare the Market revealed the top reason British neighbour's argue

  1. Broken fences – top of the board was broken fences and whose responsibility it was to fix it
  2. Parking: one of the leading drivers of neighbour disputes, with 54.1 per cent of people having issues with people parking in front of their house, parking bay or driveway
  3. Trees – complaints about a neighbour’s tree cracking your garden path was also common with nearly half of participants finding it frustrating
  4. Bin wars – outdoor bin etiquette continues to ignite the most furious debates between neighbours
  5. Nosy Neighbours – some people have their eyes and ears at the ready to have a peek causing problems for others

However, others were full of suggestions for what she could do to help the situation.

“Get glue that will set your stones then you can just brush the grass off in the future,” someone suggested.

A second said: “Put another panel up along the bottom to stop their grass blowing through.”

“Honestly, please just get a leaf blower. Doesn’t suck up the gravel, just the grass,” wrote someone else.
