FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Beryl has made landfall as a category 1 hurricane early this morning along the Texas gulf coast. Eventually the remnants from that storm will impact central Ohio. Until then our stretch of dry weather continues, but now humidity will begin to increase. Above average temperatures will stick around for now.

Monday starts off mostly clear, but more clouds will build as the day goes on. Temperatures will top off in the low 90s. With the expected humidity increasing the heat index will feel like the mid 90s.

Tonight skies will continue to fill with more cloud cover. Muggy conditions will also stick around ahead of the incoming cold front. Lows will only fall to close to the 70 degree mark.

Tomorrow ahead of the next weather maker skies will be primarily mostly cloudy. Spotty rain and storm chances start up in the late afternoon and evening hours. The best chances for storms to pop up will be south and west of the city. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

Additional rain chances pick up Wednesday as the remnants of Beryl will move close to our area. A washout is not expected, but at this point any rain is still welcomed. Parts of central Ohio are still at a moderate drought stage.
