Three upcoming gigs by Rumba Attack
The beloved local trio, Rumba Attack has three upcoming performances this summer in Paphos, Lefkara and Larnaca. Musicians Constantinos Lyras, Memnon Arestis and Savvas Thoma will take their flamenco and rumba-inspired rhythms to three different venues this July and August to entertain guests and music lovers of all ages with mesmerising covers and original compositions.
As part of Technopolis 20’s celebrations for its 10th anniversary, Rumba Attack will perform a live set in the garden of the Paphos venue on July 16. This time, the trio will also feature soprano Mariza Anastasiades as the musicians take out their guitars, cajons and percussions.
Towards the end of July, Rumba Attack will perform live at The Agora Hotel in Lefkara. On July 26, the hotel will fill with rumba sounds, blended with melodies from Middle Eastern and Greek origins, rock, and bossa nova. Next month, the band will also perform in Larnaca at Paul’s Coffee Roasters on August 9, entertaining more fans with songs from their new album and renowned covers in their signature flamenco, Latin and world sounds.
