Four La Liga clubs keen on signing Man United ace with 16-G/A last season
Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood is set to leave the club permanently this summer and a number of La Liga clubs are keen on his signature.
According to a report from the Mirror, Valencia have already submitted a £25 million offer to sign the 22-year-old England international and they will face competition from Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Getafe.
Greenwood is open to the idea of joining a La Liga club this summer and it remains to be seen where he ends up. He was on loan at Getafe last season and he was quite impressive for the Spanish outfit. Greenwood scored 10 goals and picked up six assists in all competitions.
Greenwood needs to play regularly at this stage of his career and Manchester United will not be able to provide him with the platform. It makes sense for the Red Devils to cash on him and invest the proceeds from his departure on a player who can help them improve.
Mason Greenwood is an attractive prospect
Meanwhile, it is no surprise that several La Liga clubs are keen on signing Greenwood this summer. He showed his quality in Spanish football last season and his ability to slot into multiple roles make him an attractive prospect. The Manchester United attacker is capable of slotting in as the right sided winger as well as a centre forward. He will add goals, pace, flair, and creativity from the flanks.
The 22-year-old will look to join a club where he will get ample first team action and the opportunity to play for clubs like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid Madrid in particular will be quite exciting. It will be interesting to see if they are willing to provide him with gametime assurances this summer.
Manchester United are reportedly holding out for a fee of £40 million for the attacker and it remains to be seen whether the Spanish clubs are willing to pay that kind of money for him.
