NORTHEAST KANSAS (KSNT) - From Lawrence all the way to Goodland, Kansas, this week's episode of K-Nation covers quite a bit of ground.

Kansas State football landed its highest-rated recruit in program history on Monday in Linkon Cure, a five-star tight end from Goodland High School. 27 Sports Director Glenn Kinley made the trip to Cure's hometown for his commitment announcement. He won't join the 'Cats until the 2025 season, but Cure details what went into his decision in a one-on-one interview on K-Nation.

In the Big 12's preseason football poll, K-State football is picked to finish second overall in the conference, while KU is picked to finish fourth. Conference newcomer Utah is the favorite to win the Big 12, while Oklahoma State is expected to finish at number three.

The Kansas Sports Hall of Fame not only announced its induction ceremony will be held in Topeka in October, but there are multiple Jayhawk and Wildcat greats in the 2024 class.

A set of twins from Wichita is headed to KU in the fall, but for different sports. Will and Nate Thengvall are currently living the dream, but those dreams didn't fully come through until early May. K-Nation's Caroline Soro catches up with the twins, and their parents, to discuss their journey to Lawrence.

The K-Nation team also recapped KU Athletics' top 10 moments from the 2023-24 calendar season across all sports. Those, as well as the rest of this week's episode, can be watched above.
