Hot, humid weather returns, midweek rain from Beryl's remnants

Central Ohio Weather and Radar

High pressure building across the region brought us a nice holiday weekend, with lower humidity and seasonably warm afternoon in the mid-80s. Tonight will be pleasant again, as early morning readings fall into the mid-60s.

The weather will warm up early Monday, in a southerly flow of humid air, sending temperatures into the low 90s.

The next chance for a few storms comes Tuesday ahead of a cold front and low pressure in the Upper Midwest. Readings will drop back into the upper 80s.

The midweek weather will be influenced by the track of the remnants of Beryl, which will curve northeast across the lower Ohio Valley as a rainmaker, adding a surge of tropical moisture by Wednesday, resulting in periods of rain and a few storms.

Clouds and rain will lower temperatures later in the week, with highs in the low to mid-80s, with muggy conditions. After the storm system lifts away to the northeast on Thursday, very warm and sticky weather will prevail into the weekend, with partly to mostly sunny skies.
