NATIONAL SUMMARY
Beryl will move into Texas tomorrow spreading strong winds
and heavy, flooding rain across the southern Mississippi
Valley. Beryl will continue to bring rough surf and
dangerous seas as well storm surge flooding along the Texas
coast. There is a risk of tornadoes in eastern Texas and
western Lousiana. In the Southeast and Midwest, afternoon
thunderstorms will rumble. Across the Northeast and
Mid-Atlantic it will be very warm and humid and there can be
a thundershower along the coast. An area of strong high
pressure anchored over the West will continue to promote a
prolonged period of sunny skies, dry weather and dangerous
heat. Many locations will break daily record-high
temperatures and some places can even approach all-time
records. It will be pleasant in the Northern Plains.
