One-week lane closure announced for Center Street in New Iberia

NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY) -- The westbound lane of Center Street at U.S. 90 will be closed for one week for pavement repairs, the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office announced Sunday.
The closure will begin Monday at 8 a.m. and is expected to reopen July 15 at 4 p.m., weather permitting, according to the announcement.
The sheriff's office said the road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone. Emergency vehicles will have access through this area but may encounter delays.
