FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Our stretch of dry weather continues into the new week. Rain chances will eventually return to central Ohio. Before they arrive we will continue to see rising temperatures across the region, eventually returning to the 90s.

Sunday begins a rise in temperatures as most of central Ohio will see highs in the upper 80s. Even more sunshine is expected during the day. Winds will vary in direction throughout the day, but remain relatively calm in speed.

Tonight brings clear skies and an overall quiet night. Overnight lows will be slightly warmer with temperatures falling to the mid 60s.

Next week starts off in the 90s for temperatures, but that will not last long as a cold front approaches the area. Spotty rain and storm chances start up Tuesday and will linger most of the week.

Additional rain chances pick up Wednesday as the remnants of Beryl will move close to our area. A washout is not expected, but at this point any rain is still welcomed. Parts of central Ohio are still at a moderate drought stage.
