A FASHIONISTA has taken the internet by storm with her date night ensemble which people reckon is not suitable for wearing out in public.

The perfect fabulous outfit that makes you feel your best and most confident is an essential element when heading out for a date or a brunch with your friends.

Stylish Instagram user Lauren Sharkey certainly is someone who knows about this, regularly sharing fashion inspiration on her page.

But recently the 27-year-old’s platform went viral for all the wrong reasons, after cruel trolls thought one of her outfits was missing a crucial element.

In the video, the US-based style guru could be seen proudly showing off her date night look, before heading for a launch in Chicago.

The outfit, the gorgeous blonde revealed, consisted of a pair of baggy Zara trousers in grey, a belt she’d bagged from Etsy, black heels, as well as a SKIMS bralette she was wearing as a top.

The final look was completed with the on-trendy sleek bun, some accessories and a black clutch in her hands.

All chuffed with the stylish ensemble, Lauren wrote in the caption: ”@cschicagosocial Power List launch.

”A weekday date night downtown calls for a statement look – bralette, platforms and loud jewels!”

However, whilst the young fashionista looked incredible and confident, many social media users had an issue with one aspect in particular – wearing a bralette with nothing else on.

Thousands flocked to comments under the video which has racked up a staggering million views in just one week.

”People need to stop acting like a BRAlette is suitable clothing. It’s literally an undergarment,” wrote one person, as over 5,000 others gave it a like.

”’Omg this is tragic,” is how another critic felt about the final look.

Someone else, meanwhile, reckoned the bralette was giving gym vibes.

”That sports bra looks like it’s from Walmart. It ruins the fit.”

”The underwear goes UNDER your clothes,” a fourth remarked.

It wasn’t just the bralette people were coming for – others thought the bottoms weren’t flattering either.

”What she put on it makes her look SpongeBoby. Pants shape and top shape do not work on your body.”

The 27-year-old fashion lover hasn’t yet responded to all the criticism.
