Looking for a bounce back today

Alright everyone. We almost took game one last night but came up just short. Today will be different though.

Looking to avenge last night’s loss, Oakland gets right back at it today in game two of the series against Baltimore. The Athletics will send out righty sophomore Luis Medina, who will be trying to get the club back in the win column today. It’ll be just his seventh game of the season after he started the year on the IL but he’s coming off arguably his best start of the year. In his last outing he tossed six strong frames against the reigning NL champion D-Backs and he’ll be looking to keep that momentum going today against a Baltimore squad a lot of people are expecting to make a deep postseason run in October.

The Orioles will counter Medina with rookie lefty Cade Povich. The rookie is only making his sixth career start so the Oakland bats need to jump on the young lefty sooner rather than later. Don’t let him get into a groove. Knock him out early.
