Labour ministry submit reports on Amazon and Foxconn to the National Human Rights Commission

The Amazon report mentions violations of certain provisions of labour laws by Amazon and informs that the state government has initiated legal action as per provisions of the concerned labour laws. However, in the Foxconn case, the Tamil Nadu government had given a clean chit to the Foxconn’s iPhone factory saying there was no evidence supporting claims of discrimination against married women.
