35,819 candidates take foreign medical graduate exam: Health ministry

New Delhi: Over 35,000 candidates took the FMGE to practice medicine, said the Union health ministry. Conducted by NBEMS at 71 centres in 21 states with no incidents. Supervised by over 250 appraisers and 45 faculty, with senior officers deputed at all centres. NBEMS, an autonomous body, will declare results. Exams were augmented for smooth conduct.
