Watch Masataka Yoshida Jolt Red Sox With Game-Tying Homer Vs. Yankees

Down by two runs in the ninth inning, Masataka Yoshida gave the Boston Red Sox some life with a game tying two-run home run to send the New York Yankees to extra innings.

With two outs, Dominic Smith hit a single on a ground ball to right field with Yoshida coming up to bat. It did not take long for the designated hitter to hit a home run to right field to make a new ball game for Boston.

Yoshida was not the only one to come up big for the Red Sox. Ceddanne Rafaela was the first batter to come up for Boston in the 10th inning. He came in clutch, hitting a two-run home run to give the Red Sox their first lead of the game, 5-3.
