'Stranger Things' Co-Creator Ross Duffer Shares Exciting Update on Show's Final Season

Stranger Things co-creator Ross Duffer shared a very exciting update about the Netflix series’ fifth and final season.

After multiple delays due to the strikes in Hollywood last year, the show finally entered production in January 2024. Six months later, Ross took to social media to reveal how far along they’d gotten.

On Instagram this week, the showrunner shared a photo of the massive cast and crew on set. He paired the photo with a caption, noting that they were 24 weeks into process.

According to him, that’s the halfway point, meaning that there’s still a good deal of work to go.

Franchise star Maya Hawke also recently weighed in on when the show was going to finish filming. She also teased some details about the final season, hinting at how long the episodes would be.
