India-Russia JV delivers 35,000AK-203 rifles in first phase

Indo-Russian Rifles in Amethi delivered 35,000 AK-203 rifles to the Indian Army. The Korwa Ordnance Factory began production after its 2019 inauguration and a ₹5,124 crore technology transfer. It will supply paramilitary, police forces, and enable exports to friendly nations, complying with Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat policies.
