Trump ex-staffer accuses campaign of settling multiple sexual harassment lawsuits

An ex-adviser who is suing the 2016 campaign of former President Donald Trump revealed a text exchange in court filings that appears to show a Trump lawyer admitting to quietly settling multiple discrimination or sexual harassment claims, according to court records first reported by Forbes' Zach Everson.

A.J. Delgado shared a digital conversation with a person she says is Jenna Ellis, the former Trump attorney who pleaded guilty in his Georgia election racketeering case, court records show.

"Do you know of anyone who complained of gender discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, or sexual harassment, in the 2020 Campaign?" asks Delgado.

The response is "Yes...The campaign settled multiple suits."

Delgado filed a lawsuit in May, accusing Trump's election campaign of sexual discrimination by attempting to hide settlement payments to women accusers.

Those allegations were first reported by the Daily Beast.

Delgado also accused longtime Trump aide Jason Miller, with who she had an affair and has a child, of engaging in "a cycle" of sexual abuse and of stiffing her on child support payments. She has also claimed discrimination because she lost her job during pregnancy.
