Real reason Ayo cried at tense Casa Amor recoupling revealed by Love Island fans
LOVE Island viewers think they’ve worked out the real reason behind Ayo’s tears last night.
As the two villas merged into one, Ayo decided to recouple with Casa Amor girl Jessica, leaving his faithful former partner Mimii single.
After making his decision, Ayo was anything but happy and seemed to regret moving on from Mimii.
He looked deflated and was audacious enough to worriedly ask Mimii if she was going to drop him for good.
And viewers believe he was upset because his game-plan has unravelled.
One person wrote on X: “Ayo crying because he knew Mimii was his meal ticket #LoveIslandUK.”
Another shared: “Erm maybe Ayo is crying cause he knows he’s going home?”
A third said: “Ayo… YOU’RE GOING HOME!!!”
A fourth wrote: “Ayo crying on live TV like he’s a victim? Just be packing your bags you’re gone buddy #loveisland.”
Body language expert Judi James was equally scathing in her assessment.
She told us: “Ayo is all facial expressions of mock bewilderment and confusion now and he’s dropping his head to imply he is the victim, getting reassurance rituals from the others as though he’s the
one in pain.
“His very performed displays of mock victimhood contrast with the way Mimii took herself outside the villa entrance to take time to reflect.”
Mimii was the final girl to return to the original villa and looked stunning in a white dress.
But there was to be no happy ending for her as she was greeted by sad faces from co-stars who knew what was coming.
She reacted with dignity, simply saying, “it is what it is.”
When host Maya Jama asked Ayo if he had anything to say, he responded: “Not now. I don’t think it’s the time.”
