I threw my bestie the ‘best ever’ Still Game hen do – bride was gobsmacked by costume but even show icon loved it
A HEN party proved they are Still Game for a laugh after dressing up as the sitcom OAPs for a day out in Glasgow.
Bride Kayleigh Trimble, now Bell, was gobsmacked when she handed her frumpy Isa costume and wig for her pre-wedding bash.

Kayleigh’s sister, and maid of honour, Erin came up with the hilarious theme for the hen do.
She dressed up as Winston while fellow sister Lisa left people in stitches as Edith and bridesmaid Amy Waddell recreated shopkeeper Navid.
Kayleigh said: “I was gobsmacked. It wasn’t something I had actually thought my bridal party would do. I never even thought of doing a Still Game theme.
“But it was the best costume yet, Isa suited me down to a tee.
“When I saw everyone at the train station I was actually lost for words which is not like me – or Isa.”
The rowdy ‘OAPs’ stunned passengers after boarding a train from Kirkconnel, Dumfriesshire, to Glasgow in April.
The 13-strong group then attempted an escape room in the city centre, before enjoying a cocktail masterclass and karaoke to end the night in their full costumes.
Roars of “two pints, p****” rang round the boozers wherever they went, and one bar even put Still Game on the telly to celebrate the hen party.
Bridesmaid Amy, 31, told us: “We did all feel bad to start with because she got all her makeup done nice, and hair, and had a nice outfit on. Then we had to swap her to Isa.
“We got all our stuff from charity shops except the wigs.”
She added: “It was a buzz from start to finish, must admit everyone from the train to streets of Glasgow loved us.
“People wanted our picture and kept asking us to say lines from Still Game.
“Plus I got away with being so drunk because my excuse was ‘Navid doesn’t drink’.
“It was a brilliant night. We would do it again in a heartbeat for sure, the only thing missing from the night was Bobby the barman.”

After being tagged in the TikTok clip, the actor – who played Jack in the TV hit – replied with laughing emojis.
Amy said: “Ford commented and saved my video so we were all loving that obviously.
“It was just a laugh a minute, it really was.
And social media users are in full agreement, with them all hailing it as the “best hen do ever”.
“Honestly, hen party goals”, gushed one.
A second pleaded: “Can I be your friend?”
A third said: “I think this is the best hen theme I’ve ever seen in my life.”
“Legends!! Every last one”, insisted a fourth.
A fifth wrote: “Finally a hen party with a guid bit of patter!”
A sixth echoed: “I honestly don’t think anything can top this theme… You all pulled it off, it looks like you had so much fun.”
Meanwhile, someone else chimed in: “Best costumes ever hahahaha!!!”
