Watch: Morning Joe panel laughs as Rev. Sharpton goes off on 'Dunkin Doughboy' Trump
MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton made "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough and the rest of Friday's panel burst into laughter when he took some shots at Donald Trump who was filmed in his golf cart sneering at President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Reacting to media demands that Biden make himself available after his disastrous debate performance over a week ago, Sharpton suggested everyone should relax — and questioned reporters who have ignored Trump's gush of lies during the same debate.
Then he made reference to the video of Trump's sitting in a golf cart where he was recorded stating, "I got him out of the — and that means we have Kamala,” before calling Biden a "broken-down pile of c--p" and saying of Harris, “I think she’s gonna be better” as an opponent, but even so “She’s so bad. She’s so pathetic.”
Firing back, Sharpton stated, "It really is amazing when you look at the history of how Republicans managed an elderly [Ronald] Reagan, how they managed [Dwight] Eisenhower, who had a [heart] attack while he was president," he explained to host Scarborough.
"He was a Republican, and now they're trying to make the country think there is such a panic on what we don't know about Biden."

"We still don't know if it was a bad night or if it was something else," he continued. "I think he's earned a right with his achievements and his accomplishments as president, for us to give him at least a couple of weeks to really decide what he is doing and to come forth."
Referencing Friday's interview with Biden on ABC that will be broadcast Friday evening, he elaborated, "We'll see what happens with [George ] Stephanopoulos. We'll see what happens with the press conference they wanted the next morning, immediately, for him to start running relay races to prove something when their guy is sitting on a golf cart looking like the Dunkin Doughboy, cursing every other word," which led to hoots of laughter from the off-screen Scarborough.
