FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Friday morning!
It's another dry start for Central Ohio, but also another warm and muggy one! Going into the rest of today, temperatures are on their way back to seasonable numbers. We're also looking at chances for showers and storms to return as well.
A few areas of patchy fog have been trying to develop this morning. Given how close the temperatures & dewpoint have been this morning, be on the lookout for some fog as you start off your day. Fog will gradually lift this morning, but we'll stay cloudy going into the afternoon.
Our next round of wet weather will begin this afternoon. A cold front will push in from the west and bring in chances for a few showers as we go through the afternoon. There is the chance to see a handful of storms develop as well. Storms and showers remain fairly scattered through the evening. There's a 1/5 risk of seeing stronger storms with the main concern being stronger winds.
Going into tonight, skies turn mainly dry after midnight. This time, clouds will start to drag out of our area behind those showers. Saturday will still see some clouds, but there will finally be a little more sunshine. Temperatures are slightly cooler to start the weekend in the lower 80s. For Sunday, sunshine takes control with more seasonable temperatures.
Next week starts off warmer with temperatures in the 90s and more sunshine. We're back in the 80s for the middle of next week with chances for scattered storms and showers returning.
