My ‘entitled’ neighbour blocks my driveway – it’s almost impossible to get out my house & I’ve even hit their car
A WOMAN hit out at her “entitled” neighbour who blocks her driveway making it impossible to get out of her house.
The woman explained how her neighbour insisted on parking on the
road, right outside the opening to her driveway.
This stopped her from getting out of her own drive.
Posting their experience on Reddit the fuming social media user accused the people next door of selfishly hogging parking spaces.
She said on Reddit : “The road is narrow so if you have cars coming from opposite directions, one will have to pull off to let the other pass because there’s not room for both.
“That being said, we have a two-car garage and an accommodating driveway.
“My neighbour’s have a massive four-car driveway with a wrap-around and could easily fit six cars in the driveway itself without hanging into the road.
“They have two cars and park them in the garage at night.
“However, during the day they insist on parking in the road right in front of our driveway.”
“We have a van and if they’re parked there it’s hard to get out of our driveway without hitting them or our curb.
“I’m so tired of it, there’s no reason for them to park in the road with their massive driveway.
“I don’t know if it’s legal or if there’s anything I can do about it, you’d think they would stop parking there after getting hit but no.
“If they absolutely need to park in the road it would be just fine for them to park in front of the house next to theirs because it’s vacant.”
Commenting on her post, one user said: “Look up your county’s or town’s code enforcement for any information on street parking.
Another user added: “Ask them not to block your driveway, if they continue, call a tow truck.
A third user said: “Why aren’t you asking law enforcement? Take a photo and go down to admin between 8-4. Ask them!”
It comes after a family revealed how they live in an 11ft caravan after losing everything.
