Ex-Labour leader Corbyn wins as independent in UK election

LONDON: Former United Kingdom Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, a veteran left-winger suspended by the party following a drawn-out anti-Semitism scandal, won re-election to Parliament today as an independent candidate.
